VPD: Vincennes Man Has Sex With Minor

Vincennes man was arrested Wednesday afternoon in connection to a juvenile sex offense investigation.
According to the Vincennes Police Department, in mid- January, Vincennes City Police Detectives received information allegeding a sexual relationship had occurred between an adult male and a juvenile female.
Subsequent investigation led to an arrest early Wednesday when Investigators arrested 32 year old Mark D. Sawyer of Vincennes. Sawyer is alleged to have maintained a sexual relationship with a female who was determined to be 15 years old.
Sawyer was arrested and charged with: Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, a Class B Felony. Sawyer was transported to the Knox County Jail where he was held on $25,000 bond pending court appearance.
