(Vincennes, Indiana) Vincennes City Police are investigating an incident involving discharge of a firearm resulting in minor injuries at a local bar.
Shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday, May 27 City Police responded to Alice and Woody’s bar at 1031 Washington Avenue for a shooting incident resulting in minor injuries to one of the patrons.
Investigation revealed that a patron had become disorderly and was asked to leave the establishment. The subject returned a second time and was removed from the property by patrons.
The suspect then returned in a vehicle and fired several shots towards 2 males outside the tavern. One man was hit in the hand by a bullet and was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital and released. A vehicle was also damaged.
Police do have a suspect but are not releasing any name information at this time.
