UPDATE: Names Released On Southern Knox County Accident

We have an update to a story we brought to you first Monday.

A 2 vehicle accident sent one person to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment.

the Knox County Sheriff’s Department and Harrison Township Fire Department were called to Hickory Corner Road, just north of State Road 241 for an accident involving injuries.

At the scene, officers say that a silver Dodge, being driven by a 16-year-old male and red Kia Soul being driven by Mark Webster were driving on their sides of the road when they collided. Both cars ended up in the ditch on the west side of the road. The silver Dodge had a student from South Knox High School on their way to class for the day while the red Kia had a couple driving south.

A female from the red Kia Soul, Julie Webster  was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment.
