(Undated)  –  The United Nations Security Council is holding an emergency meeting this morning about North Korea’s latest nuclear test.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon  has denounced today’s underground nuclear test by the North as a “grave” violation of Security Council resolutions.

The White House released a statement calling it a “highly provocative act.”  This was the reclusive Communist nation’s third nuclear test.  A nuclear test monitoring agency in Vienna says the blast was about two times as big as the North’s last nuclear test in 2009.
