UEZ Hears From Parks Department on Pool
The Vincennes Urban Enterprise Zone heard Tuesday from Steve Beaman on the potential new Rainbow Beach Pool. Beaman talked about the tax impact for community for the pool. The report shows an annual tax payment of $21.25 on a $100,00o home while reaching $63.44 on a $200,000 property.
The current design calls for a zero depth entry, 8 lane pool that is 25 yards, water slide, interacive area for kids, diving boards, a spray park. The total estimated cost is around $2.9 million with a budget around $3.2-3.4 million dollars.
The pool is up for a vote in a special election on May 7th.
