UEZ Deduction Forms Now Available in Vincennes
As tax time is here, the Vincennes Urban Enterprise Zone wants to notify people who live or work within the Urban Enterprize Zone that they may be eligible for a tax deduction on their individual state adjusted gross income.
In order to get that, an employer must fill out an IT-40QEC form so it can be claimed.
All Vincennes Urban Enterprise Zone businesses that take advantage of at least one tax credit or exemption during the tax year, must file the EZB-R Registration Form for 2012 with the State Enterprise Zone Board. That form is now available at Vincennes City Hall.
After completion, the original copy should be sent to the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and a copy of the EZB-R Form must also be sent to the Vincennes UEA office at Vincennes City Hall.
The UEZ Form EZ-2, to claim an Enterprise Zone Investment Deduction, must be filed with Knox County Auditor’s office at the courthouse between March 1 and May 10, 2013. Business owners who have made a real property investment or remodeled their businesses within the zone may be eligible for a 10-year tax credit on the increase in property value.
