“Twilight Saga” Named Worst Movie Of All Time
(Undated) – Readers at RiffTrax.com have expanded their definition of “movie” slightly to name the entire “TwilightSaga” the Worst Movie of All Time. The five-film series came in at number one on the fan-voted list put together by the website, which is run by three former cast members of the cult comedy show “Mystery Science Theater 3000.” The editors help explain the ignominious honor by boiling down the “Twilight” plot to, quote, “Mumble mumble mumble moon eyes. Mumble mumble mumble mumble lay in a field. Mumble mumble mumble perv on a baby. Mumble.” The series — which stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner — came to an end this past November with the release of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.”
Coming in at number two on the RiffTrax list is George Clooney’s turn as the Caped Crusader in “Batman and Robin,” followed by Halle Berry’s “Catwoman” at number three. “Spider-Man 3″ was voted the fourth worst movie of all time, while “Last Airbender” rounds out the top five.
