(Poseyville, Indiana) Indiana State Police arrested a Poseyville couple at their residence for Manufacturing Meth.
On Friday, August 30, around 6:15 p.m., Indiana State Police arrived at 12900 Cavalier Lane in Poseyville to investigate suspicious chemical odors. James Fernando Price, 40, of Poseyville answered the door and Troopers Alexander and Deig immediately detected a strong odor of ammonia coming from inside the residence. Price’s 7 year old son was also present when police arrived. A short time after they arrived the second resident of the home Crystal Miller, 29, of Poseyville arrived at the residence. She has two daughters, a 13 and 8 year old, but they were not with her but they also reside at this residence.
When troopers and officers from the Posey County Drug Task Force searched the residence they found numerous ingredients commonly used to manufacture meth and a meth lab. The chemical odor was so strong inside the residence the windows and doors had to be open to ventilate the residence.
Crystal Dawn Miller was charged with Manufacturing Meth, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possission of Precursors, Neglect of a Dependent on 2 counts. James Fernando Price was charged with Manufacturing Meth, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Precursors, and Neglect of a Dependent.
Price and Miller were arrested and taken to the Posey County Jail where they are currently being held on bond and Price’s son was released to his mother.
