A sad day in Vincennes as an old shop is demolished.

A Fixture on the VU Campus is no more. This past week, crews have been on the Vincennes University Campus to demolish Roscoe’s Cobbler Shop on North 2nd Street, across from Davis Hall.

Roscoe Eaton owned that shop for a number of years at the location. He owned the building until his death in November.
Nothing has been announced by the university as to what they are doing with the property. The plot is located near parking for Clark Residence Hall. We will keep you updated on the situation.
