DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that State Road 58 (S.R. 58) will be closing west of Interstate 69.
Contractor’s crews will be closing S.R. 58 from the junction of State Road 358 (S.R. 358) to the junction of U.S. Route 231 (U.S. 231). Crews will be replacing a drainage structure under the roadway, 0.36 miles east of S.R. 358.
Work will begin on or after Thursday, May 29, at approximately 8:00 a.m. local time. It is anticipated the roadway will re-open to traffic by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 16, weather permitting.
No through vehicle traffic will be allowed, however local residents will have access to the point of closure. All lanes of traffic will be closed at the structure. The official detour will follow S.R. 57, S.R. 54 and U.S. 231.
