Scientists Discover How the Flu Mutates
A key discovery for fighting flu may have been found.
Scientists with the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California say they’ve figured out how the flu virus keeps mutating. And, furthermore, they’ve also figured out how to stop it from doing so.
The researchers say the findings also apply to avian flu and other infectious diseases such as HIV.
