Rural Montgomery Boy Found Dead In Barn

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department says the death of a 9 year-old boy found in a barn Monday evening was accidental.
Emergency crews received a call early Monday evening that there was a juvenile male subject found unresponsive in a barn located at 10263 E 725N in Montgomery.
Emergency crews arrived on scene shortly after 5:03 p.m. and found a young male lying on the floor in the hay loft. CPR was performed and the young male was removed and transported to Daviess County Community Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The young male was identified as 9 year-old Michael Stoll. Although the investigation continues the death has been ruled accidental.
