Rising Waters Close State Roads In Martin County
Rising waters have caused some roads across the coverage area.
INDOT has closed State Road 450 from U.S. Route 50 in Shoals to State Road 37 in Bedford. The closures will remain in effect until waters recede.
When encountering a flooded roadway, INDOT urges drivers to turn around and not drive through standing water. According to the National Weather Service, most flooding deaths occur in automobiles.
