Sunday’s Late Afternoon Forecast Map

Even though it’s technically spring, winter is still holding on.

The weather forecast is calling for rain and snow mix to move into the area on Saturday Night.  As the low pressure system moves along the Ohio River, precipitation is forecasted to change to all snow on Sunday.

If this happens, the rain and snow line would set-up along the Ohio River.  Snow accumulations would be possible north of I-64.  Further North you travel, the heavier the snow will be.

Winter Storm Watches was posted early Friday morning for the St. Louis area, where they could see up to 8″ of snow.

Here is the forecast map for Sunday at noon:

For us, it’s really to early to forecast snow total amounts.  We need to watch this storm carefully, as any shift in the storm could mean a major change to our forecast.
