Railroad Crossing Repairs On US 41 Thursday

Motorist traveling along U.S. Highway 41 in Sullivan County will have a change in their normal commute this week.

Indiana Railroad Company has announced that it will be making repairs to their rail crossing on U.S. 41, 1.7 miles south of Sullivan.

Work at this location will begin on Thursday, February 14 at approximately 8:00 a.m.  Railroad crews will close one lane of traffic at a time to make repairs to their rail line.  A minimum of one, twelve-foot lane in each direction will be maintained at all times.

Repairs to the crossing are anticipated to be complete by late evening on Friday, February 15, weather permitting.
