(Undated)  –  Pork sausage sold in at least a dozen states is being recalled because it could contain pieces of plastic from rubber gloves.

Virginia-based Smithfield Packing Company is recalling 38-thousand pounds of pork sausage.  The packages are labeled “Gwaltney Mild Pork Sausage Roll” and have a use by date of March 12th.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture says the problem was discovered when the manufacturer got complaints from people who bought the sausage.  There haven’t been any reports of anyone getting sick from eating it.
