Pike County Teen Dead After Accidental Shooting
A Pike County teen is dead following an accidental shooting near Glezen Sunday Night.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department reports that shortly after midnight they received a call of a shooting. When officers arrived at the residence, located on 125 S, they learned that 18 year-old Damon Robinson had been cleaning his gun when it discharged. The bullet struck Robinson in the face.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation continues as police wait for an autopsy report.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Patoka Township Fire Department and the Pike County EMS.
