Pike County Schools Remain On 2 Hour Delay, Suspect Captured

Pike County Schools will remain on a two hour delay this morning.  Wanted suspect has been captured. 

Pike County School officials are reporting that the suspect reported earlier had been caught.

All Pike County Schools will remain on a two hour delay this morning. Petersburg Elementary School will still be open for students.

According to information from Pike County sources, Pike County police were searching for a black male in dreadlocks.  This suspect was wanted in a connection to a shooting in Anderson, Indiana.  

No other information is being released by the Pike County Sheriff’s Department at this time.
