Petersburg Teen Injured In One Vehicle Accident

A Pike County teen was injured in a one vehicle accident Saturday morning.
Police say that 16 year-old Jacob Barr was traveling northbound 57, when he apparently lost control of his vehicle. Barr’s Ford truck flipped on the east side of State Road 57.
He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville where he was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The accident took place at the Pike/Gibson county lines at the intersection of State Road 57 and County Road 150. The highway was closed for about an hour as crews cleaned up the accident.
