(Princeton, Indiana) A man was arrested after leaving the scene of an accident.
On Saturday, October 12, at 4:57 a.m. an accident had been reported on US 41. Gibson County Sheriff Deputy Fischer and Princeton Officer Robb arrived and located the vehicle in the median of US 41 and the vehicle was unoccupied with significant damage to the front and back drivers side of the vehicle. During the investigation of the accident the officers went to the registered owner’s residence and spoke with Jorden L. Ott, 24, of Patoka. They had probable cause to believe her was the driver of the vehicle when it wrecked.
Jorden L. Ott was arrested and charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident resulting in Property Damage, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a Prior, and written citations for Driving While Suspended and an open container violation.
Jorden L. Ott remains in the Gibson County Jail on a $1300 bond.
