Owner of Executive Inn Files Motion to Stop Demolition
The demolition of the Executive Inn Could be delayed.
In a motion filed Friday, the attorney for Vincennes Executive Inn owner Mark Vales has filed a motion to correct errors in a recent ruling to allow for the old hotel’s demolition.
According to Robert Rock, Valdes’ attorney, he believes the should be given another hearing to prove he was denied permits from the city to repair the facility.
If this motion is approved it would stop the Board of Works to award a demolition of the building. Judge Sherry Gilmore ruled last month that the city could proceed the demolition of the structure.
