(Oakland City, Indiana)- On August 17, 2013 Gibson County Sheriff Deputy Tim Speedy was dispatched to Toyota Motor Manufacturers in reference to a possible theft.
Upon arriving Deputy Speedy was advised that during routine bag checks two wireless camera systems that were property of TMMI were concealed inside a contract employees lunchbox. Deputy Speedy read the suspect, Ronald D. Norrick, age 25, of Oakland City his Miranda Warning and began to investigate the incident.During questioning it was discovered that he had stolen other items from TMMI.
After a search of Mr. Norrick’s residence in Oakland City he was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with four counts of Felony Theft.
Mr. Norrick remains in the Gibson County Jail on a $3,000 bond.
