Local Restaurant Closing Due To Eminent Domain
A local restaurant is being forced to close their doors due to eminent domain.
Parish’s Pizzeria at 1503 North 2nd Street released the following statement on the situation.
“Hello to all Parishs Pizzeria friends and customers! Sad to say that
We at Parishs will be closing soon,Vincennes University has exercised Eminent Domain on our building,no settlement has been reached,and they can take possesion of the property very soon.We appreciate your prayers,friendship and business,you have given us over the years,Please keep us in prayers and mind if you you desire a great pizza or sandwich.It is our hope to possibly move to a new location if we can work this situation out. You our customers have been wonderful to us,and will forever be in our hearts and minds. God bless you!”
