Local Library Receives Computer Grant

A local library has a new touchscreen computer thanks to a grant.Oakland City-Columbia Twp. Public Library has received a grant of an AWE Early Literacy Computer to use in it’s children’s area. The new computer, complete with touch screen technology, is loaded with educational games focusing on math, reading, and writing for the youngest learners.
This project is supported by the Institute of Museums and library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Indiana State Library.
