Lady Indians Finish Ahead of Salukis

The Lawrenceville High School Lady Indians softball team were victorious over the Red Hill Lady Salukis by the final score of 9 runs to 4 on Thursday evening, March 27, 2014, in Lawrenceville, Ill.

The Indians scored four runs in the first and five in the second.  The Salukis scored one in the third, two in the sixth and one in the seventh shutting out the Indians after the bottom of the second.

The Salukis finished the night with four funs, five hits and three errors.  The Indians had nine runs off of twelve hits and two errors.  The winning pitcher was Morgan Parish pitching six innings with three strikeouts and allowed only five hits and three walks.
