The City of Vincennes is again this year organizing the July 4th Parade. Any individual, church, group, club or other organization is encouraged to participate and may do so by completing a parade entry form. This year’s July 4th Parade theme is “America Strong!”

Parade entry forms may be picked up in City Hall at 201 Vigo Street between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. weekdays. Entry forms may also be completed, downloaded and submitted on the City website Home Page by logging on to www.vincennes.org. Call 882-7285 to receive an entry form by email or by fax. All entry forms must be completed and returned to City Hall before noon on Friday, June 20th.

The July 4th Parade line-up will begin at 3:30 that Friday afternoon and the parade will step off at 6:00 p.m. Those entries wishing to be judged in the categories of commercial float, non-commercial float, performing unit, marching unit and color guard must be at their parade line-up location by 4:30 p.m. First-place trophies in each of these categories are being donated by the Vincennes V.F.W.
