Jimmy J. Miller, 46, of rural Lawrenceville, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born October 19, 1967 in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of Joseph W. and Doris (Leib) Miller.
Jimmy worked in construction. He was a member of the Trinity Pentecostal Church in Lawrenceville. Jimmy enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a huge Nascar Fan.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, one brother-Roger Lee Miller and a niece.
Survivors include his girlfriend Gloria “Jeannie” Ramirez of Lawrenceville, one son James Michael Miller of Bridgeport; three step-sons Manny Ramirez of Vincennes, Matt Ramirez and Drew Marshall both of Lawrenceville; one step-daughter Melissa Courtney of Lawrenceville; two brothers Paul (Kim) Miller of Vincennes, Indiana and Joe (Mandi) Miller of Teutopolis, Illinois; an adopted brother Stanley Weiss of Bridgeport; two sisters Connie (Terry) Berry of Bridgeport, Illinois and Pam (Vic) Harrington of Longview, Texas; nine grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday at the Trinity Pentecostal Church, 9th and Collins Street, Lawrenceville.
Memorials may be made to the family or Good Samaritan Hospice with envelopes available through the funeral home.
