Frank Coleman, Jr Becomes Mayor of Petersburg

Petersburg, Indiana gets a new mayor over the weekend.

Frank Colman, Jr was sworn in by Pike County Commissioner Brian Davis at the Pike County Republican Caucas Sunday.  Hometown News spoke with Frank Coleman, Jr., Monday morning to find out what his plans are for the city.

Fran Lewis, President of the city council, is serving as interim mayor until Coleman assumes official office on February 25.  Coleman replaces former Petersburg Mayor Jon Craig who resigned his position last month.

Craig left the mayors postion to become the Deputy Director of the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
