Former First Dog ‘Barney’ Passes Away
The first First Dog of the U.S. to take us on a tour of the White House Christmas decorations at ‘dog’s eye level’ has died. Former President George W. Bush says his Scottish Terrier, Barney, has died from lymphoma at the age of 12.
Bush says Barney enjoyed chasing golf balls off the chipping green, wandering the halls of the West Wing and being a “fierce armodillo hunter.”
Barney was also praised for being polite, a faithful friend, and never discussing politics.
