Family members are upset by an invitation to reopen the theatre where so many were killed.
Cinemark is being criticized for their plan to re-open the Colorado theater where 12 people were gunned down last year.
Sandy Phillips lost her daughter in the massacre and says all families involved believe the move is highly inappropriate.
She says Cinemark sent the families an email inviting them to a “special evening of remembrance” just two days after Christmas.
Phillips is especially angry with Cinemark for asking them to “reserve tickets” and thinks it’s “insanity” for the theater company to even think they’d go to the theater.
Cinemark plans to re-open the Century Aurora 16 theater January 17th and declined comment.
