Facebook Tests Charging Fees for Messaging Using Mark Zuckerberg as Bait

(Facebook)
Yes, this IS true. Using Facebook to chat with your friends may soon put a dent in your wallet.
The company is testing “pay messaging” using Mark Zuckerberg as the bait. For $100 you can message the social networking king a private message which he will receive. The catch? He’s not on anyone’s Facebook friends list.
Here’s the deal – right now people can message basically anyone, or any page, on Facebook. The message goes to an email box which most Facebook users aren’t even aware that they have.
You would still be able to email and message people on your list of friends with the new service – but you would have to pay for the privilege of emailing and messaging someone that is not on your friends list. That cost? – $1 per message.
Facebook is hoping this is a feature people will be willing to pay for.
