Driver Arrested after Crashing into a Car and Leaving the Scene In Daviess County

An Evansville man was arrested following an accident in Daviess County.

Indiana State Police report that at approximately 7:15 a.m. EST Thursday morning, 29 year-old Ashley Roach of Loogootee was traveling westbound on US 50 near County Road 450 E when her 2004 Toyota was struck from behind by a white 2001 KIA. The KIA driven by 39 year-old Brian C. Jordan of Evansville continued West on US 50. A short time later Knox County Deputies located the driver and vehicle in Wheatland.

Through the course of the investigation enough probable cause was established and Jordan was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a .19% Blood Alcohol Content and Driving While Suspended.

Jordan was transported to the Knox county Jail without incident.

The crash is still under investigation. Roach was not injured.
