The Daviess County Advisory Plan Commission is still working with the City of Washington to maintain the InterLocal Agreement.

Commission President Dennis Helms explained there was a six month term with the City of Washington for Terry Wininger to serve as the Plan Director for the commission. That term ended in June.

Wininger is currently spending 20 to 30 hours a month serving as the Daviess County Plan Director for zoning permits.

Helms reported the commission’s attorney, Grant Swartzentruber, has begun the discussion with the city, but no decision has been made at this time.

In other business, Helms reported the Bennington Levee Overlay proposal is still up in the air. The board has to determine penalties and an outline of what the new zoning overlay would entail if approved.

The commission could not act on any business due to lack of a quorum.
