Courthouse Error Leads To More Money for North Knox Schools
A Courthouse error lead to $30,000 heading back into a local school district.
The North Knox School Corporation updated the public on their 1782 notice. An error at the courthouse lead to the additional funds for the district. The error was due to funding calculation values in the North Knox area around the new Duke Energy power plant in Edwardsport. The Indiana Department of Local Government Finance went in favor on the school after the appeal was made in February.
Those funds will be in the Capital Projects line of the budget.
