Contract Negotiation Board Members Now Report to Pence
The new State Superintendent of Public Instruction says she is glad the board that oversees teacher contract negotiations will now report to the governor. Governor Pence signed an executive order on Monday that moved the responsibility away from Glenda Ritz’s office. Ritz says the change will give the board a fair and objective view of school contract disputes.
