Computer Users Urged To Disable Java Over Security Issue (Video)

computer-alert-150x150(Redwood City, CA)  –  Everyone using a computer whether it’s a PC or Mac is being urged to disable the Java add-on to their browsers.

A new security flaw has been discovered this week that computer security experts say is being exploited to attack machines.  Jaime Blasco, Labs Manager with Alien Vault Labs calls Oracle Corp’s Java software a “mess” saying “it’s not secure” and “You have to disable it.”  Java is installed on nearly every PC and most Macs.

It’s an add-on that allows websites to work properly no matter what kind of computer is being used to access them.  Security experts say the risk of any computer being attacked by hackers is high right now.

HTN set down with Travis Heath to discuss  the Java security issue.

You must update or disable Java immediately or you could allow hackers into your computer.  Heath says you can stop by their shop at 405 A Main Street in Vincennes and they can disable and fix your Java issues for free.
