BREAKING NEWS: Daviess County Sheriff’s Department investigating a death investigation in Odon

UPDATED: The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Indiana State Police are involved in a death investigation in Odon.
Sunday morning the identity of the body has been announced. The identity of the lady found outside of of Ebany’s Cuts and Moore in Odon was 50 year old Christina Martin. She was a resident of Capehart Manor in Odon.
The rumors going around of her being partially disrobed were not true from other unconfirmed reports.
An autopsy has been scheduled and foul play is not suspected at this time.
Saturday morning the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a woman lying next to Ebany’s Cuts and Moore in Odon. She was transported by ambulance to Daviess Community Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
An investigation is under way and further information will be released after the family is notified.
Assisting the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department in the investigation and at the scene was the Daviess County Coroner’s Office, Indiana State Police Crime Scene Unit, Odon Marshal’s Office, and Southwest Medical.
At 4 p.m. EST Hometown News spoke with Odon Police officer Scott Noble who confirmed that a death had occurred in the town limits and they are assisting the coroner’s office in the investigation. They don’t suspect foul play.
Other sources close to the investigation, says a females body was discovered near 615 E Elnora Street behind the business Ebony Cuts & Moore at around 9 a.m. EST.
The identity of the female has not been released at this time pending notification of next to kin and an autopsy has been scheduled for Monday Morning.
Police did mention a press release will be issued later this evening.
