Bicknell Girl Seriously Injured in Mini-Bike Crash

(Bicknell, Indiana)  Friday afternoon just before 5 p.m. Bicknell Police and Indiana State Police responded to a crash involving a mini-bike and a parked vehicle causing serious injuries.

Trooper Mull reported that, Elizabeth Chambers, 11, of Bicknell, was operating a mini-bike in a vacant lot on Fourth Street in Bicknell.  Chambers lost control and crossed the sidewalk causing the mini-bike to become airborne and then landed in the roadway.  She continued to be out of control and collided with a parked SUV.

Elizabeth Chambers was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes then later airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville.  She is being treated for serious injuries.  It was also stated that she was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
