(Washington, Indiana) — Washington police say they have arrested a juvenile in connection with Monday’s bomb threat at Washington Junior/Senior High Schools.
According to a press release, no name or age is being released due the fact the student is a juvenile. Charges are pending.
Students Monday afternoon were evacuated from an area school earlier due to a bomb threat.Students at Washington Junior-Senior High School were evacuated around 2 this afternoon due to that threat. Junior High students were taken to North Elementary while High School students finished their day at the National Guard Armory as a precaution.
Parents of students were allowed to pick up students early from the junior and senior high school due to the incident. All Washington JR/SR High School events have been cancelled for tonight.
The building was searched and by 4:00 p.m. nothing had been found in the building and the building was given a clear.
