A Vincennes Man Was Arrested After An Accident For Operating vehicle While Intoxicated Causing Serious Injuries
(Vincennes, Indiana) A Vincennes man was arrested for Operating a vehicle While Intoxicated and causing serious bodily injury to his passenger.
On Sunday, August 25, around 3:26 a.m., the Vincennes Police Department investigated a two car accident at Main Street and Ramsey Road. Three people were injured in the accident.
Taylor N. Martin, 31, of Vincennes was one of the drivers and showed signs of being intoxicated, but he refused any of the tests. He was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital and released. His passenger was Nickolas Plahn. He was air lifted to St. Mary’s hospital in Evansville for treatment from the accident. The driver in the second vehicle was treated for minor injuries and released.
Mr. Martin was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated causing serious bodily injury to the passenger in his vehicle.
Martin was lodged in the Knox county Jail. Bond and court date are still pending.
