8 Year Old Washington Girl Injured In Scooter Accident
An 8 year-old Washington girl was injured in a scooter vs truck accident Thursday evening.
According to the Washington City Police report, 8 year-old Tiffany Potts of Washington was riding her motorized scooter out of an alley on the East side of Northwest 1st Street. Police say Potts drove into the path of 41 year-old John Howell of Washington, who was driving his 1997 Chevy pick-up southbound.
Police say Potts was ejected off of the motorized scooter and landed in the west side of Northwest 1st Street on the grassy curb side.
Potts was treated for minor bleeding to her head and several cuts.
