Two Car Accident Sends One To Hospital
A 2 car accident in southern Knox County sends one person to the hospital.
Just before 8 this morning, the Knox County Sheriff’s Department and Harrison Township Fire Department were called to Hickory Corner Road, just north of State Road 241 for an accident involving injuries.
At the scene, officers say that a silver Dodge and red Kia were driving on their sides of the road when they collided. Both cars ended up in the ditch on the west side of the road. The silver Dodge had 3 students from South Knox High School on their way to class for the day while the red Kia had a couple driving south.
A female from the red Kia was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment. Names are currently not being released at this time.
