Two Arrested At Vincennes Hotel On Drug Charges
A Lawrenceville Woman and her passenger were arrested on drug related charges Friday evening.At 8:26 PM, Lawrence County Authorities were aware of a person who was lodged at the Econo Lodge on Old Wheatland Road. Vincennes City Police were called by Lawrence County to the locations and located 21-year-old Courtney D. Painter of Lawrenceville, IL. At the location, officers located meth and drug paraphernalia. A person with Painter, 37-year-old Robert L. Malone of Gary, Indiana was also found to be in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
Painter faces charges of failure to appear, as well as possession of meth and wreckless possession of drug paraphernalia. Malone faces charges of possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were take n to the Knox County Jail. Painter is will be transported to Lawrence County to face her additional charge.
